Variants

From the point of view of the modeller getting their lightning model correct, there is a potential mine field or variants and interim variants (although it is less daunting the F-16 production blocks).  In chronological order their is one anomaly, the F.2A, which is closely related to the F6. There are also specific export variants (based on RAF marks)

The table below sets out the key differences between marks to help guide the modeller. This is provided with a caveat, in so much as every attempt has been made to make the list accurate. There is an old adage, check your references, and the plural is to be encouraged.
